Would you believe a show aboutWeb 2.0 from Microsoft? I think this shows the continuing evolution of what is happening with the Internet. Although this whole evolution is most visible to us corporate types as the SaaS (software as a service) model, in the consumer sector it is dominated by the growing importance of “user generated content” — either in its purest form (like Wikipedia), or in a “hybrid” form (like user reviews of stuff on Amazon, or even of merchants, as on eBay ).

The Microsoft take on all of this should be very important, as their focus is so heavy on the enterprise and corporate world — and they may accelerate adoption of Web 2.0 ideas there.
